Controlled Redundancy P2P Distributed Data Storage
Rohan Sharma, Rishabh Singh, Dr. Pankaj Kumar
- TLDR: This research introduces a new approach to improving file distribution in peer-to-peer torrenting networks by tracking file redundancy and optimizing downloads. The proposed solution reduces bandwidth and storage needs by guiding nodes to download files with low redundancy and reclaim disk space from redundant files. The study shows that this method enhances efficiency and offers valuable insights for future torrenting protocol advancements.
